I know I could probably look it up, but it’s more fun to speculate: Is Mon-El really gone? And if so, why did they write him out? Does Kara need to grow on her own as a character? Are they setting up a romance arc for her with Barry Allen? Or was Chris Wood just a dick to work with?
I’m not gonna be any good any writing this recap, you guys. For the first time in two seasons, she didn’t do the origin story intro, so I’ve competed forgotten who these characters are or how they got here.
Remember, Superfans: Never negotiate with terrorists. Just listen to their sob stories about how their parents were mean and they didn’t have enough friends in high school, and their master plans will unravel before your very eyes.
It being tax season and all, I can’t help wondering what Kara’s W-2 will say now that she’s been fired from CatCo. Is she just a DEO agent now? Have we totally dispensed with the secret identity concept?
So … Jeremiah was a Cadmus prisoner for fifteen years. And they adopted Kara (or whatever) when she was … twelve? Thirteen? Kara can’t possibly be any older than actress Melissa Benoist, who is 28. Which means that Jeremiah was her dad for a whopping zero years. No wonder she doesn’t seem to really care that he’s back.
This doesn’t really have anything to do with the episode, but I noticed Mechad Brooks still gets second billing right after Melissa Benoist on IMDB. Someone should tell them he’s not even on the show anymore. I mean, seriously, what happened to him?
